Community Kidney Health Awareness & Screening Camp at Lodha Luxuria, Thane
On 5th July 2026, Kidney Warriors Foundation successfully conducted a Kidney Health Awareness & Screening Camp for the residents of Lodha Luxuria, Thane. The initiative aimed to educate the community about kidney health, the importance of early diagnosis, and simple lifestyle measures to prevent Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
The awareness session was delivered by Dr. Divya Bajpai, Consultant Nephrologist, who shared valuable insights on the growing burden of kidney disease and its close association with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and unhealthy lifestyle habits. She explained the importance of regular kidney screening, recognizing early warning signs, and adopting preventive measures to maintain long-term kidney health.
The session covered:
Understanding the role of the kidneys
Common causes and risk factors for CKD
Early detection through regular screening
Healthy lifestyle habits to protect kidney function
Preventing kidney disease through awareness and timely action
One of the most engaging parts of the event was the interactive Question & Answer session, where residents actively participated by asking practical and thought-provoking questions related to kidney health, diet, medications, and preventive care. The discussion made the session highly informative and encouraged greater awareness among attendees.
To complement the awareness program, Neodocs partnered with Kidney Warriors Foundation to organize an on-site kidney health screening camp. Using their innovative digital screening technology, more than 50 residents underwent kidney health testing and received instant reports, enabling them to better understand their health status and seek medical advice whenever necessary.
